The topology followed while laying these cables in an organisation is decided as per the architecture of the building. It becomes essential to select the right type of cables for creating an effective and efficient data transfer network in an institution or an organisation. Wiring the network also requires the use of a central patch panel and a network switch, which is further connected to the IP or the patch panel of the Private Branch Exchange (PBX).
